Gillette Augmented Reality Advertising

The marketing introduction of the PHANTOM into the Russian market provided Gillette with an extraordinary campaign.

With the help of the Unifeye Viewer 2.0 technology of metaio the male target group had the opportunity to experience a virtual model of the new wet shaver directly on the advert. During a period of four weeks the advertisement was shown in 12 different magazines (including Men`s Health, National Geographic, Maxim and Pro Sport).

Additionally it took part of the "Popular Mechanics" magazine special issue in September, which presented eight other pages besides the Gillette advertisement that incorporated this technology.
