We're very excited to reveal the first details about this year's insideAR: In the Expo area visitors can participate in "A day with AR" featuring live demonstrations from metaio, AR business professionals and partners. See and experience all of the day-to-day AR scenarios being used right now and which will be created in the future. The mandatory technology for the next steps in AR will be presented by a joint demo from ARM and metaio which will demonstrate the groundbreaking Augmented Reality capabilities on the ARM Mali GPU family including complex, highly realistic modeling (i.e. shaders) combined with a 3D tracking approach. ST-Ericsson will present and demonstrate the AR capabilities of its U8500 smart phone platform. Furthermore, Sony will present a HMD prototype with the world's highest see-through transmittance.
On the AR software side metaio will give a first insight into the upcoming Unifeye Suite and the new capabilities and possibilities arising with the Unifeye Mobile SDK roadmap. Last but not least, we can share more information about the first, confirmed top speakers sharing their insights and experiences with you.

Day 1 of insideAR 2011 is open to the public. Keynotes will be given by the leaders and visionaries in the field of AR, and expert panel discussions will be held, relating to the current status and future of the vision, technology and business opportunities available with Augmented Reality.
